As the administrative arm of the Circuit Court, the Clerk’s Office maintains the Court’s records with the assistance of a staff of 200. These records include documents filed in court cases, marriage license applications and certificates, business licenses, property records and more. My office administers the oath of office to county and local elected officials, individuals appointed by the Governor and the County Executive, and public safety officers.

Since being elected in 2018, we’ve made tremendous progress — but there’s more work ahead. I am seeking a third term to focus on several priorities to ensure that our office keeps pace with the needs of the people.

  • Expanding Online Services – Making it easier to access records, file documents, and make payments online.

  • Supporting Expungement Opportunities – Helping individuals clear records, consistent with Maryland law, so they can move forward.

  • Protecting Property Owners – Implementing safeguards against fraud and scams that threaten families and businesses.

  • Reducing Processing Times – Streamlining services to provide faster, more efficient support.

  • Ensuring Professionalism – Upholding fairness, integrity, and accountability in everything we do.
